The Cisco IE-3100-8P2C-E is a Catalyst IE3100 Rugged rugged industrial Ethernet switch that provides 8x 10/100/1000 PoE/PoE+ ports (up to 30W each) and 2x 1G combo (RJ-45/SFP) uplinks, with a 240 W PoE/PoE+ (802.3af/at) power budget for phones, wireless access points and cameras. It delivers 10 Gbps of switching capacity and a forwarding rate of 14.88 Mpps, ensuring wire-speed performance for everyday business traffic. Its fanless design keeps operation completely silent, so it can be installed close to users.

The Catalyst IE3100 Rugged series brings Cisco IOS XE to compact DIN-rail switches for factories, utilities, transportation and outdoor cabinets. It supports industrial ring redundancy protocols such as REP, MRP, Fast MRP and G.8032 ERPS, operates from -40°C to +75°C and is managed with the same tools as the enterprise network, including Cisco Catalyst Center and WebUI.
