The Soeteck Dual-Tank Immersion System is a compact, self-contained liquid cooling package in which servers are fully submerged in a dielectric coolant. It consists of two immersion tanks, each providing 20U of equipment space, and a single outdoor cooling cabinet. The design is aimed at small and medium compute clusters, edge and high-density sites, and projects where equipment must be in service quickly, such as 5G BBU installations and IDC expansions.
Heat moves from the components directly into the coolant, which is circulated by a pump rated for 4–10 m³/h flow and 10–40 m head (1,100 W). The system transfers up to 15 kW and holds the coolant at or below 45 °C, a setpoint that can be adjusted. Final heat rejection is handled by a dry cooler or a cooling tower, depending on site climate and water availability. With no chillers or computer room air handlers involved, Soeteck specifies a PUE below 1.2.
Each tank measures 1200 × 700 × 1140 mm and stands on the floor indoors. Filled with its share of the 520 L coolant charge and IT hardware, a tank weighs about 580 kg, so floor loading should be checked during planning. Because the system works as a plug-and-play unit without secondary-side piping in the IT space, the risk of water leaks near equipment is removed and installation is reduced to placing the tanks, connecting the outdoor unit and supplying AC 220 V power. Operating noise is 55–60 dB, considerably quieter than fan-cooled racks.
ServerInvest sizes, supplies and integrates the system with immersion-ready Supermicro servers, power distribution and heat rejection, and the floor layout can be planned in our 3D Room Builder.
