The APC AR3100B2X617 belongs to the second generation of Schneider Electric's NetShelter SX family, the company's premium 19-inch enclosure line for data centres, server rooms and edge sites. It provides 42U of EIA-310 mounting space in a 600 mm wide, 1070 mm deep frame that stands 1991 mm tall, a classic depth that suits mainstream 1U/2U servers, storage and network gear.

The welded steel frame is rated for 1814.4 kg static and 1020.6 kg dynamic (rolling) load, and the 19-inch EIA mounting rails adjust in 6 mm increments, accepting equipment from 190.5 mm to 914.9 mm deep. 2 full-height 0U accessory channels at the rear take vertical rack PDUs and cable managers without consuming rack units. The roof offers five large cable entry points (three front, two rear) and can be removed without tools.

This configure-to-order variant is supplied as a bare frame without doors or side panels, ready for aisle containment, mid-row bayed installations or customer-specific door and panel options; baying hardware is included.

NetShelter SX Gen 2 enclosures are UL listed, RoHS and REACH compliant, and backed by a 5-year Schneider Electric warranty.
