The APC AR3104 is a 24U member of the NetShelter SX family, built for rooms where a full-height 42U rack would be overkill or simply would not fit: branch offices, small server rooms, labs and edge locations. At 1198.5 mm tall it can sit beneath a worktop or cabinet, while the 600 × 1070 mm footprint keeps the depth of a full-size data-centre enclosure.
Inside, adjustable 19-inch EIA-310 mounting rails accept equipment from 191 mm to 914.9 mm deep, enough for standard rack servers, a rack-mount UPS, switches and patch panels. The steel frame carries 1360.8 kg static and 1020.6 kg dynamic load.
Perforated front and rear doors allow front-to-back airflow, and the curved front door can be locked with the supplied keys. The roof can be removed for cable access, side panels close off the enclosure, and pre-fitted casters plus levelling feet make it easy to move into place and stabilise.
The enclosure is listed to UL 2416, follows EIA-310-E and is covered by a 5-year APC warranty.
