The APC AR4012A is a 12U NetShelter Soundproof rack (the current generation of APC soundproof enclosures, following the earlier NetShelter CX models) that lets servers and network equipment live in offices, bank branches, shops, clinics and classrooms without a dedicated server room. Its maple-finish exterior blends in with office furniture, and the enclosure reduces equipment noise by 18.85 dBA at 1 m.
It measures 785 mm high, 750 mm wide and 1130.4 mm deep and accepts 19-inch equipment from 690 mm to 830 mm deep. The rack is rated for 840 kg static and 748 kg dynamic load - twice the rolling load of the previous generation - and comes on casters with levelling feet.
Thermostat-controlled fans provide up to 1.2 kW of cooling capacity, the unit is dual-rated for 110-240 V, and a basic built-in PDU plus cable managers with brush strips make it a ready-to-use, all-in-one cabinet. Front, rear and side panels lock to prevent unauthorised access.
UL certified; 2-year warranty.
