The APC AR9587SPB2 is a NetShelter SX Advanced enclosure - Schneider Electric's taller, deeper and stronger rack platform aimed at AI, HPC and other high-density deployments. It offers 48U of 19-inch space in a 800 mm wide, 1295 mm deep frame standing 2256 mm tall, leaving room for very deep servers, power distribution, liquid-cooling manifolds and heavy cabling.
Vertical and horizontal steel bracing give a rating of 1927.8 kg static and 1587.6 kg dynamic load. The 12-gauge EIA rails adjust in 12.7 mm steps for equipment from 292 mm to 1143 mm deep, and four full-height 0U accessory channels at the rear take rack PDUs and cable managers.
This SP model ships in ISTA-tested shock packaging so the rack can be integrated off-site, loaded with IT equipment and then transported to its final location (shipping load up to 1600 kg according to APC), with a reusable ramp for pallet removal. 80% perforated front (curved) and rear doors swing 130°, split lockable side panels and 3-point key locking secure the rack, and the roof provides four extra-large cable entry points.
Casters, levelling feet and baying hardware are included; the enclosure is UL listed, RoHS/REACH compliant and carries a 5-year warranty.
