Dell part AB118548 is the Dell-supplied version of the APC by Schneider Electric NetShelter SX 42U server rack enclosure, 600 mm wide and 1200 mm deep with side panels, in black. It corresponds to the AR3300 frame size (APC part AR3300X717) and is intended for data centres, server rooms and network closets standardising on Dell server, storage and networking hardware.
The NetShelter SX platform provides 42U of EIA-310 19-inch mounting space with adjustable vertical rails that accept equipment from about 190.5 mm up to 1048 mm mounting depth. The overall height is 1991 mm, and the enclosure ships with side panels, leveling feet and pre-installed casters.
Keyed-alike doors and side panels simplify access control across a row, and baying hardware allows enclosures to be joined side by side. As a NetShelter SX derivative it is compatible with the extensive APC ecosystem of rack PDUs, cable management, airflow and security accessories.
