The DIGITUS industrial network cabinet is a free-standing 19-inch enclosure sealed to IP55 for harsh indoor environments such as production halls, workshops and warehouses. A polyurethane gasket system between door frame and profile frame, a closed rear door with filtered air inlet and PG cable glands keep dust and water jets out.
This 42U model (part number DN-19 42U-I-8/8-1) measures 2100 × 800 × 800 mm (H × W × D) and is finished in light grey (RAL 7035) electrostatic powder coating. It is equipped with a lockable safety-glass front door. The 19-inch mounting rails accept equipment with an installation depth of 160–660 mm. Rated load capacity is 1500 kg on the 19-inch profile rails. It is delivered fully assembled.
It is designed for industrial Ethernet, machine networking, building automation and other installations where standard IP20 network cabinets would be exposed to dust, moisture or splashing water. The corrosion-resistant profiles and 500-hour salt-spray test support a wide operating temperature range.
