The Eaton SR12UBEXPNDKD is a 12U 4-post open-frame rack from the Tripp Lite Series SmartRack family, built to hold EIA-310 19-inch equipment in secure IT rooms, telecom closets and lab environments. Its external footprint is 650 mm high, 517 mm wide and 913 mm deep, and it accepts rack devices from 610 mm up to 914 mm deep. Eaton rates the steel frame for 454 kg of static load.
The open-frame design gives unobstructed airflow and full access to equipment and cabling from every side, ideal for secure rooms where lockable doors are not required.
The vertical mounting rails use square-hole (cage nut) mounting, with numbered rack spaces for quick installation. Toolless 0U mounting points accept vertical PDUs and cable managers without consuming rack units.
It ships flat for easy assembly with the supplied hardware. Eaton backs the product with a 5-year limited warranty.
