The Eaton SRQP42UB is a 42U floor-standing rack from the Tripp Lite Series SmartRack family, built to hold EIA-310 19-inch equipment in offices, studios, retail spaces and other occupied areas where equipment noise matters. Its external footprint is 1993 mm high, 600 mm wide and 1092 mm deep, and it accepts rack devices from 102 mm up to 940 mm deep. Eaton rates the steel frame for 1089 kg of static load and 907 kg while rolling.

Foam sound-dampening panels line the doors, side, top and bottom panels to cut emitted noise by up to 20 dB, while a passive front-to-rear airflow path keeps equipment cooled without extra fans.

Security is provided by locking reversible front door with sound-dampening foam and air intake, locking reversible rear door with sound-dampening foam and exhaust and locking removable side panels. The enclosure meets the physical-security requirements of PCI DSS for equipment handling payment card data. The vertical mounting rails adjust in 1/4 in. increments and use square-hole (cage nut) mounting, with numbered rack spaces for quick installation. Toolless 0U mounting points accept vertical PDUs and cable managers without consuming rack units.

Pre-installed removable casters let the cabinet be rolled into position, where adjustable levelers stabilise it on uneven floors. It ships fully assembled for fast deployment. Eaton backs the product with a 5-year limited warranty.
