The Eaton SRWF16U38 is a 16U wall-mount rack from the Tripp Lite Series SmartRack family, built to hold EIA-310 19-inch equipment in wiring closets, retail branches, classrooms and back offices with little floor space. Its external footprint is 965 mm high, 500 mm wide and 589 mm deep, and it accepts rack devices up to 889 mm deep. Eaton rates the steel frame for 181 kg of static load.
Equipment mounts vertically, so the cabinet projects only about 589 mm from the wall while still housing devices up to 889 mm deep, such as 1U servers, UPS units and switches.
Security is provided by locking reversible vented front door and fixed vented enclosure body; locking top panel. The enclosure meets the physical-security requirements of PCI DSS for equipment handling payment card data.
It ships flat for easy assembly with the supplied hardware. Eaton backs the product with a 5-year limited warranty.
