The Eaton SRWO8U22MD is a 22U wall-mount open-frame rack from the Tripp Lite Series SmartRack family, built to hold EIA-310 19-inch equipment in wiring closets, retail branches, classrooms and back offices with little floor space. Its external footprint is 1074 mm high, 511 mm wide and 305 mm deep, and it accepts rack devices up to 292 mm deep. Eaton rates the steel frame for 68 kg of static load.
The expandable two-post frame can be assembled in an 8U, 12U or 22U configuration (heights listed here are for the 22U build), so rack space can be added later without replacing the rack. It mounts on the wall with holes at 16 in. stud spacing or can stand on the floor.
The vertical mounting rails use threaded 12-24 mounting, with numbered rack spaces for quick installation.
It ships flat for easy assembly with the supplied hardware. Eaton backs the product with a 5-year limited warranty.
