The Extralink EX.12929 is a 6U 19-inch wall-mount cabinet finished in black, measuring 370 mm high, 600 mm wide and 600 mm deep. It is intended for offices, small server and network rooms, CCTV control rooms and other technical spaces where switches, patch panels, recorders and compact network equipment need a tidy, lockable enclosure that does not occupy floor space. Its double-section (swing-frame) design lets the front section pivot away from the wall-mounted rear part, giving convenient access to the rear of installed equipment and to incoming cabling.

The welded frame and outer walls are made of cold-rolled steel sheet. The front door is fitted with a tempered-glass pane, can be hung to open to the left or right and swings beyond 180°, so equipment remains visible while the cabinet stays closed. The side panels are held by latches and can be removed for installation and maintenance work, with locks and keys included.

Vertical rails are clearly marked with U positions. Cable openings are provided in both the top cover and the bottom panel, and the roof is prepared for mounting two fans to improve heat removal from active equipment. The cabinet is designed primarily for wall installation but can also be set up standing, and the frame concept allows straightforward self-assembly while keeping the package compact for transport.
