The Extralink EX.14442 is a 42U 19-inch floor-standing rack cabinet in black with an 800 × 1000 mm footprint and an overall height of 1990 mm. It is built for server rooms, network and telecom rooms, offices and CCTV control rooms that need a robust, lockable home for servers, switches, patch panels, storage and power equipment.
The outer walls are made of cold-rolled steel sheet. The front door has a tempered-glass pane and a key lock and can be mounted to open to either side; the cabinet is also closed with a steel rear door. Side panels are latch-mounted and removable to simplify installation and maintenance, and locks with keys are supplied.
Adjustable levelling feet and heavy-duty castors make it easy to position the cabinet and stand it securely on uneven floors. Cable entries in the top cover and bottom plate are adjustable, and a baying kit allows several cabinets to be joined into a row. The bottom panel offers eight cable pass-throughs, while the roof adds a ventilation outlet and two further cable entries.
