The Lanberg FF01 series is a range of 19-inch free-standing rack cabinets for server rooms and network installations that need a strong, well-ventilated enclosure at a sensible budget. The cabinets are made of cold-rolled steel and supplied flat-packed in protective cartons for self-assembly, and every unit is grounded on the frame, front door and rear door.

Model FF01-8042-12BL is a 42U cabinet measuring 2127.5 × 800 × 1000 mm (H × W × D, 2020 mm without castors) with a tempered-glass front door and a steel rear door. Usable mounting depth is 860 mm, and four vertical 19-inch rails are fitted. In the V2 version with LCD panel the frame, top/bottom covers and horizontal beams have been reinforced, raising the maximum static load to 1200 kg, and the cabinet rolls on 3-inch castors with brakes or stands on levelling feet.

An integrated LCD control panel with thermostat and timer drives the roof ventilation panel (6 fan slots) automatically, or the fans can be switched manually, so the internal temperature stays under control. The cabinet conforms to ANSI/EIA RS-310-D, DIN 41494 and IEC 297-2, and Lanberg provides a 36-month warranty.
