The Vertiv VR3300 is a 42U floor-standing server rack from the Vertiv VR Rack family, measuring approximately 600 mm wide, 1200 mm deep and 2000 mm high. VR Rack frames are engineered for quick deployment in high-density server rooms and data centres and give roughly 2.5 in. (about 63 mm) more usable depth than comparable 19-inch cabinets, leaving more room behind long servers for power cords and cabling. The 600 mm width matches a standard data-centre floor tile, so rows of servers can be built with no wasted floor space.

Every VR Rack ships with a single 77% perforated locking front door and split 77% perforated locking rear doors - both can be hinged on either side - plus two pairs of split, locking side panels with slam latches for easy removal. A high-density cable entry top cover handles up to about 2,000 Cat 6 cables, and two full-height, depth-adjustable brackets in the zero-U space serve as toolless mounting points for rack PDUs and cable management.

The frame carries 1361 kg (3,000 lb) static and 1134 kg (2,500 lb) dynamic load. Two sets of 19-inch EIA rails are fully depth-adjustable, and accessories such as shelves, blanking panels and cable managers install without tools. The 42U frame height lets the cabinet roll through standard doorways on its casters. Cabinets can be bayed externally on metric spacing or on 24 in. centres.
