The Soeteck manifold is the distribution element that connects a coolant distribution unit (CDU) to the individual cold-plate servers within a liquid-cooled rack. Mounted vertically at the rear of the cabinet, it provides supply and return headers with multiple branch ports, so each server node receives coolant through short hoses and couplings.
Two connection styles are available. The SY-MFQ uses quick-connect couplings for manual connection of server hoses, while the SY-MFB is designed for blind-mate connection, where servers couple automatically as they slide into the rack. Both are offered in 30×30, 40×40 and 50×50 mm square profiles to match the flow requirements of different rack densities, and in SUS304 or SUS316L stainless steel.
Because a manifold sits directly beside live IT hardware, build quality matters. Soeteck manufactures the manifolds in a dust-free workshop with an MES-controlled process to keep internal surfaces clean, and every unit passes both a gas and a liquid pressure test before shipment. The internal geometry is designed for uniform flow distribution, so servers at the top and bottom of the rack receive comparable coolant supply.
The manifolds work with ethylene glycol, propylene glycol and deionised water, and the source specification lists a material working temperature range of −180 °C to 400 °C. They are typically used with in-row or in-rack CDUs in AI, HPC and high-density enterprise racks that adopt direct-to-chip cooling.
