A coolant distribution unit (CDU) is the heart of a direct liquid cooling system: it circulates coolant to server cold plates, controls its temperature and transfers the heat to a facility water loop or to room air. The Soeteck CDU range covers three form factors so liquid cooling can start at a single rack and scale to a full row.
It is used in AI and GPU clusters, HPC systems and high-density enterprise racks where air cooling alone can no longer remove the heat efficiently, and where reducing reliance on room air conditioning frees space for more compute.
All models supply coolant at 45 °C, a temperature high enough to allow natural (free) cooling for much of the year and to cut energy consumption. Liquid-to-liquid units use a 15/20 °C primary loop and keep the primary and secondary media separated, improving safety. Precise temperature control keeps IT hardware in a stable range, and water or glycol can be chosen to suit the site. Configurations can be customised.
ServerInvest sizes, supplies and integrates CDUs with liquid-ready Supermicro servers, racks, manifolds and power, and the full deployment can be mapped out in our 3D Room Builder.
